The Lemon and Lavender socks were inspired by the colors of summer: gelato, flower gardens at dawn, flowy summer dresses, the French Riviera and favorite chilly cocktails. Choose your favorite colors and start striping. These socks are especially good for using your leftover bits and pieces.

The Lemon and Lavender socks are knitted from cuff down. They are started with an optional tubular cast on, which makes the cast on edge beautiful and stretchy. The socks are knitted with a stripe sequence pattern. The heels are worked in elongated short-row heel, worked with German short rows. All techniques used are explained in the pattern.
