The Pattern

Love Lane is a gently curved asymmetric shawl that is suitable for any knitter. Attention to the edges is necessary, but the process is soothing. There are four sections: Dots, Dashes, Stripes, and Little O’s. The stockinette edges conceal the shaping on each row and provide a little elasticity as well.

Yarn Requirements

My shawl used about 650 yards of the main color (Mica) and about 140 yards of the accent color (Earl Grey). Another fingering weight yarn may be substituted, but please swatch to find the ideal needle and gauge.

Skills Needed

Knit, Purl, increase, decrease, simple lace

Finished Measurements

Approximately 82 in/208 cm across the top edge, and 40 in/102 cm along the bound-off end. Your finished measurements may be different, depending on the blocked shape.
