BACKGROUND OF THE DESIGN
The LUCY DIAMONDS IN THE SKY throw was inspired by diamonds and named by one of the testers, Rosemary de la Harpe. The diamonds remind her of the Beatles’ song.

MORE ABOUT THE PATTERN
You will need 31 x 50g MoYa Shimmer and 3.5mm crochet hook. The Shimmer yarn is a blend of 50% bamboo/50% cotton. A beautiful luxurious yarn - Proudly South African.

The finished size of the throw is 135 x 130cm.

The Mosaic crochet technique is overlay without ANY loose ends. I share a video tutorial in the General Information pdf file how to work the ends without weaving it.

You can use your own yarn or order a MoYa Shimmer kit which includes 31 x 50g MoYa Shimmer that is enough to finish the throw. There are 3 different kit palettes to choose from.

The Lucy pattern was tested by 2 testers from South Africa.
