Wrap yourself in airy warmth with a geometric stole inspired by motifs from seamen’s ganseys. Knit and purl stitches create reversible blocks of diamonds, arrows, and moss stitch that grow quickly into a simple and satisfying project for beginners or veteran knitters. Knit Ludlow with either two strands of Loft or one strand of Shelter on a large needle for a feather-light fabric and heightened stitch definition. You may want to follow a custom of gansey knitters and hide your initials or the date amongst the patterns in one of the bands.

Please note: the stitch patterns used for this accessory include written as well as charted instructions.
