NEW: Bath collection multi-pattern pack now available in my Etsy shop for 30% off, including both Spa and Luxe washcloths and bath mitts as well as the Vieux Carré towel. Find it here.

2 patterns in one! Bring the spa home to your own bathroom with this luxurious organic cotton washcloth and bath mitt. Everyone needs a little pampering, and these quick projects let you indulge before you can finish saying, “yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, draw through two loops, yarn over, draw through last two loops.” Well, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but they’re still quick and perfect for gift-giving, especially paired with a favorite bath shop gift card.

This pattern includes instructions for 2 color variation options and 2 bath mitt options (the version shown plus an easy version perfect for beginner mitt-makers). If you are a beginner mitt-maker, a photo diagram is included to help locate beginning thumb stitches. Also, both written instructions and a chart are included for the border. Finally, a detailed photo tutorial for how to make a picot is included for beginner picot-makers! You can also find the picot tutorial here on my blog: https://sia.studio/posts/picot-tutorial/

Washcloth size can be increased or decreased as instructed in pattern. Mitt is generally one size, and length (for fingers and thumb) can be increased or decreased as instructed in the pattern. The additional color variation (shown in last photo) is provided in the pattern as well.

Note that yarn suggested for pattern is quite thick (thicker than standard worsted-weight cottons in my experience), so you may need to adjust hook size to achieve gauge with a different yarn.
