The Maeve Vest features a simple silhouette, whimsical colour choice and it can be worn over big sleeves.

It is designed to use small amounts of various yarns, ranging from lace to worsted weight, and uses two strands held together. It is suggested to have one main DK or worsted weight yarn (250-400 yards) with any complementary scrap or stashed yarn.

5.0 mm circular knitting needles are used, as the vest is knit bottom up, starting in the round. However, you may knit the front and back separately before seaming together. In any case, short rows and some seaming are required.

The most challenging part of the vest is picking up stitches and knitting the i-cord edge. Otherwise, the Maeve Vest is suitable for knitters of any level.

The pattern includes instructions for the colour change technique, five sizes (32”-48”) and instructions to customize the size and fit. The orange vest pictured is S (36”) and the purple and green vest pictured is M (40”)
