MAI DAI Fingerless Mitts is a great stranding design, perfect for new stranders. It coordinates with the MAI DAI design patterns—both socks and hat. Because the mitts are stranded using one skein each of two Knit Picks Stroll solid colors, you achieve double the warmth of a single strand of yarn without it being at all bulky. The design is gender-neutral, and you can choose a different color palette for a less flashy mitt, if you prefer something more subtle. The pattern includes instructions for my signature now-you-see-it, now-you-don’t secret pocket, great for storing cash, key, tissues or metro card. Layer over gloves, as shown, to keep those texting fingers warm. And, the best part? The mitts are machine washable.
