This is a freemium pattern for a Mandarin Orange with Leaves. You can view the basic pattern for free, on my website, or you can buy a more detailed version on Ravelry. The paid version is a 5 page PDF; page 4 is the text-only pattern, for those of you who like to print out your patterns, and page 5 is a photo tutorial for the leaves.

You will need a small amount of orange and green yarn for your mandarin orange. You will also need a small amount of toy stuffing, and a darning needle.

Please note that sc (US) is dc (UK) and hdc (US) is htr (UK); this pattern is written with US terminology. The Mandarin Orange is suitable for confident beginners, as it uses a magic circle and easy stitches. The Leaf pattern is suitable for confident beginners or intermediate crocheters, as it uses back post stitches.
