Based on my Eureka! shawl design, here comes a shallower version featuring a string of eyelets along each side.
N-eu-reka! is a play on the original name – ‘neu’ meaning new in German.

The shawl is worked flat from the bottom up, starting the tip with a few stitches and increasing upwards, making your rows longer as you add a new triangle on each side. An eyelet row along each side emphasizes the v-shape. You can make the shawl as big or small as you like, stopping at any point.

I made mine in a blend of merino/nylon DK weight yarn held together with a mohair/silk lace yarn, giving both structure, texture and an amazingly soft fabric. Combine yarns as you like! Really it can be worked in any yarn weight you want.

Yarn: Knitter’s Kitchen Merino/Nylon DK (75% Merino, 25% Nylon), 225 m / 246 yards per 100g, 2 skeins.
Colorway: “Brown Bear”
and
Knitter’s Kitchen KidSilk Lace (72% Mohair, 28% Silk), 420 meters / 459 yards per 50g, 1 skein.
Colorway: “Brown Bear”

Needles: 5,5 mm / US 9 circulars, at least 80 cm / 32 inches in order to accommodate a large number of sts.

Gauge: Not crucial (but gauge might affect required yardage and final size). Sample uses gauge of 12,5 sts & 25 rows to 10 cm / 4 inches in garter stitch.

Size: One size, adjustable.
Width (wingspan) from tip to tip: 192 cm / 75.5 inches.
Depth at deepest point: 49 cm / 19.25 inches.
