This quick & easy project is inspired by my mother who taught me how to crochet and made the best cookies and brownies in the world.

This pattern offers two styles of hot pads: a Chocolate Chip cookie and a Chocolate Brownie cookie with toffee chips. A single ball of each recommended color is enough for two hot pads, either in the same style or one of each.

The finished hot pad is approximately 9 inches in diameter and the tapestry crochet technique creates a thick single-layer fabric so the hot pad doesn’t need an additional back piece to protect surfaces.
