Simple design knits up super-fast due to rows of dropped stitches. I fell in love with this yarn and played around with different stitch patterns in search of one that would let the beauty of the yarn shine through.

This scarf looks equally amazing with a casual jeans jacket or a silk blouse and can be worn any number of ways. I wear it a lot simply draped over the shoulders of my favorite jeans jacket. With warmer weather upon us, I’m now teaming it more with silk blouses. It’s a light, airy, all-weather design that you can knit up in one or two evenings.

I can’t wait to see this pattern made up in other yarns and colors but this one makes me think of the Egyptian Bronze Age and Queen Nefertiti.

Any lightweight yarn with lots of drape should work. This is a silk, mohair and nylon combination that seems almost fluid to knit. Let me know of other yarns that you have success with and I will add them to the pattern list. Happy Knitting!
