These simple socks are knit in a brightly dyed selfstriping yarn. Worked cuff-down with a heel-flap heel and a wedge toe, these socks are good for beginner sock knitters. The heel is a standard reinforced heel
with a bit of a twist: a woven slip-stitch pattern is used in place of the standard slip-stitch heel, which helps to add even more ‘pops’ of color to the heel.
