This is a great, beginner friendly afghan designed, with a very simple 4 row repeat (2 of the 4 rows are the same as well). Easily memorized & very fast to work up! Works up fast, looks lovely in a solid or striped version, & is a great stashbuster.

I wrote this afghan in 3 sizes so it is easy to make to suit your needs! The smallest size is perfect for a small baby blanket or a pet shelter blanket.: 18” by 21” (pet shelter or small baby blanket), 36” by 36” (small lapghan), 60” by 60” (regular sized throw)

Though this pattern is willingly given away for free, I do urge you to think about making at least the smallest size blanket for charity if you make one for yourself!

Many, many thanks to Kapia for her spanish translation and for her photo tutorial!

Stitch pattern is a multiple of 10 stitches plus 3 so afghan can be easily resized.

Thank you to my testers, GrandmaKnits, mamacitadedos, sandeeknit, agd509; to amgoth2000 for general cheerleading; and to my mom who named this afghan.
