NO SEAMS IN THE BODY. This modular jacket is knitted in a completely seamless manner. You do not need to decide on whether you want to add sleeves until after you have completed the vest. IF you are making the vest version, you would work a 1x1 rib or crochet around the armhole to finish it (which I did not do because I am adding sleeves). The optional matching sleeves are knitted separately and seamed in. (Sample shown knitted in Beaded Silk Light, color 1004 Metal.)

A whole new way of knitting.

This knitalong is over. The pattern is available as an e-book.
A discussion group has been started here.

Yarn needed: 32/34( 36/38, 40/42, 44/46, 48/50) without sleeves: 640 (800, 960, 1120, 1280) yards
Optional Sleeves add an extra 320 (420, 520, 620, 720) yards

Other sizes: This is knitted in a “made to measure” fashion so the challenge is to calculate the yarn needed, since you can knit this jacket to any dimension. I am estimating that for every size up you can calculate an additional 160 yards for the body and an additional 100 yards for the sleeves.
