In Armenian, Petrvar means February. I wanted to make reference to cold weather and Valentine’s Day, so I researched and found out that Armenia was the first country to adopt Christianity and that it is very cold there. That is why this cape, being dedicated to the month of February, could not bear any other name.

NOTIONS:

You must know how to knit, purl, yarn over and decrease, cast-on.

GAUGE:

13 stitches per 20 rows for a 10x10 cm swatch with 6mm needles or whichever necessary.

MATERIALS:

3 100g, 105m long skeins of K2tog yarn, 6mm interchangeable circular needles and a 60cm cable.

Petrvar significa febrero en Armenio, quería hacer referencia al frío y a San Valentín, así que busqué y encontré que Armenia es el primer país que adoptó el cristianismo y que hace mucho frío, por eso esta capelina dedicada al mes de febrero no podía llamarse de otra manera.

NOCIONES PREVIAS:

Es necesario saber tejer punto del derecho, del revés, echar hebra y hacer reducciones, montaje de puntos.

MUESTRA:

13 puntos y 20 vueltas para una muestra de 10x10 cm con aguja de 6mm o la que sea necesaria.

MATERIAL NECESARIO:

2 madejas y media de lana k2tog de 100gr, 105 metros, grosor wosted, agujas circulares de 6mm intercambiables con cables de 60cm.
