This ornament cover features a 3-dimensional Poinsettia motif in 3 colors. The leaves are worked into the same central round as the petals, but worked behind them. This causes the petals to stick up off the face of the ornament. The motifs are worked in a join-as-you-go method, and there are plenty of photos to keep you oriented as you work!

Materials required:

• size 10 crochet thread: 10 yds yellow, 18 yds red, 32 yds green
• 1.5 mm crochet hook
• 2.5” diameter plastic ornament

(For the geometrically-minded among us, this design is based on a dodecahedron, with one missing side at the top of the ornament. That’s why there are only 11 Poinsettias, not 12.)
