This cool Poncho is an eye catcher, no matter if you wear it to Jeans or to a shift Dress. Made from Moeke Yarns Heritage and Romanian Merino it is fantastic warm and with the natural Colors the Tattoo Design stands out perfectly.

• Double knitting:
Two right sides are worked at the same time, using two different colors. At the end of this pattern, you can find a mini tutorial. Important to know: the charts only show the front side stitches (MC), the backside stitches (CC) are worked simultaneously.

Construction
The construction of this poncho is as follows: cast on at the collar using a two color cast on. The yoke is knit and sleeve stitches are placed on waste yarn. After the body is completed, the CC stitches are decreased and the MC stitches are bound off. The sleeves are knit and finished in a similar way as the body.

  • MC: 660 m (720 yds) / 200 gr Moeke Yarns Heritage (60% Romanian Merino & 40% half-bred Tigaie wool; 330 m (360 yds) / 100 gr) in “Industrial”.
  • CC: 700 m (764 yds) / 200 gr Moeke Yarns Romanian Merino (100% Romanian Merino; 350 m (382 yds) / 100 gr) in “Natural”.

Needles
4.0 mm / US 6 circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge), 100 cm / 40 in length suggested for the large number of stitches in the lower edge of the garment. Preferred needles for small circumference knitting (circular or DPN) in size 4.0 mm / US 6 needles (or size needed to obtain gauge).
