Perfect for an early fall evening, this stole will be fun to wear and to knit. The focal cable is an unusual one, and fairly intricate. The border cables are also quite unique and they set each other off perfectly.

The stole is light enough to wear in early fall, but can be wrapped, so that it keeps you warm when it gets a bit chillier.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of cabling).

All the stitches are charted.

The finished stole measures 74 inches wide by 22 inches high, but can easily be adjusted.

The sample was expertly pattern tested by Aaron Atwood, who can be reached at: eochdubh.pooka@gmail.com

The yarn used in the sample is Shepherd Worsted by Lorna’s Laces, in colorway, Fjord.
