This pattern is designed to be an easy, textured cowl. If you know how to cast on/off, knit in the round, purl, yarn over, and knit two stitches together, you can do this pattern!

It consists of five different textures: 1x1 ribbing, double moss stitch, stockinette stitch, reverse stockinette stitch, and an eyelet pattern.

The pattern as written is designed to produce a cowl that can be looped at least once around one’s neck, but because the pattern is written as a 10 stitch repeat, the cowl can be lengthened or shortened as desired.

Written and charted instructions are provided.

The pattern required 3 skeins of madelinetosh Tosh Sport, but only about 670 yards were used, so it’s unlikely that the full 810 yards are necessary. But it’s always good to have extra!
