I thought it would be a great idea to knit the sweater in a single color and boy was I right! I love this one and am sure to knit at least another one.

Introducing the new, second generation Raglanism, slightly amended from the original striped Raglanism sweater version. If you have the original pattern already, you can knit this version too. The overall length here is a bit shorter though.

Just like in the original, you knit from the top down and it’s done all in one piece. You create a ribbed neckline and raglan sleeves, which get picked up again once you finished the body. You are given the choice to knit the sleeves in the round or flat here. I opted for in the round, less fuss.

You are going to love this one!

For bust sizes: S- 36, (M -38,40,42,44,46,48) L - 50”. NOTE: For the S size, stick to the gauge and don’t add extra rows, if you are thinking of making your sweater even slightly longer, you are strongly advised to choose the next size up with 3 skeins.

The pattern is fully written.

Yarn used
Darlon, an antibacterial dralon in a sport weight yarn. 309 yards a skein of super soft and washable yarn.
2/3/3/4 skeins used. For a longer version, you need extra yardage especially for the S size which is 22” in length.
