What’s this: These are my Romance socks.

Why should I make these: With their stained-glass inspired front lace, quiet stripes, and a corset top, these socks can be made as high as you want them. How high will you go?

When will they get the most use: When you’re looking to add a touch of sexy to your look.

Who are they for: Instructions are given for 3 sizes based on women’s shoe sizes, with tips on how to adjust to any adult size.

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate - you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches and colour changing. You will need 200g of fingering weight yarn (100g of each of 2 colours) and a 2,5mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle and some stitch markers.

Je commence où ? Modèle Intermédiaire vous devez être confortable avec les mailles de base (ou avoir envie d’apprendre le crochet) et les changements de couleur. Vous aurez besoin de 200g de laine de poids fingering (100 g de chacune de 2 couleurs) et d’un crochet 2,5 mm. Vous aurez aussi besoin d’une aiguille à laine et de marque-points.
