Romanesque is a semi circular shawl, designed to show off the beautiful colors of hand dyed yarn. It is knit from the top down, and features plain stockinette sections that alternate with a simple lace pattern. This pattern is suitable for beginning lace knitters, as there are rest rows, and no center stitch to worry about.
Pattern includes full directions for both the small and large size, and includes charts, written directions, and stitch count totals for every row. The small size, which uses a single skein of sock yarn, measures 17” deep, with a wingspan of 48”. The large version uses 2 skeins of sock yarn, and is 22” deep, with a wingspan of 58”.
