Senhöst / Bohus Stickning Inspired

Senhöst (Late Autumn) pattern card recipe for kofta (cardigan) designed by Annika Malmström-Bladini sometime during 1948-1955. The pattern card shown in Bohus Stickning the Revival is for a horizontal-yoke sweater, like the original cardigan shown in most of the pictures.

This design was also made as a scarf, and as a bottom-up, circular inset-yoke sweater, which was shown in an advertising card produced by Bohus Stickning, shown in one of the photos.

The design uses nine colors of thin fine wool. Some versions were apparently made with angora-blend yarn however the Bohus Stickning archive lists thin fine wool according to Bohus Stickning the Revival.

Projects knitted using the Senhöst pattern card are “Bohus Stickning inspired” projects.
They cannot be called “Bohus Stickning” projects, as they do not meet following 3 criteria: they must be knitted in the colors re-created by Solveig Gustafsson and/or Pernille Silfverberg based on the original Bohus Stickning colour cards, they must be knitted in the required quality of the yarn (lace, 2ply, angora/merino 600m/100g or Lambswool 450m/100g and of course they must be knitted fully using a Bohus Stickning pattern.
