The Shake the Barley Hat falls somewhere between winter cap and beret. It’s not quite either, but has elements of both to make it appealing. There’s the comfortable turned up brim of a classic cap to add warmth around the ears and the semi-slouch, floppy top reminiscent of a beret, or rasta style hat. Both sizes are written with the same number of pattern repeats, however, you can easily lengthen or shorten the main body by altering the stockinette rounds within the pattern, or working the plain rounds (after round 41) to your own specification.

This hat matches the Shake the Barley Fingerless Glove pattern.
