Simple Skull Hat is made from 2 contrasting skeins of Malabrigo Rios (can use any worsted weight yarn, adjust needle size to gauge) in US 6-16” circular, US 8- 16” circular and US 8 DPNS (for crown decreases) and worked in stranded color work.

Sizing is for Adult Med (fits 20” head), but pattern can be adjusted by adding or subtracting a multiple of 6 stitches to maintain chart and making sure crown decreases are easily divided by 8. You can also decrease or increase evenly a few stitches on the solid MC row before starting crown to get to a number that is divided by 8 for the crown decreases.

Notions required are stitch markers and a tapestry needle.
