This was am MKAL - now that the finished mitts have been revealed I’ve added a chart for those that prefer to work from a chart.

Instructions are written out line by line.

Can be knitted by a determined beginner, but still entertaining for the more advanced knitter.

Yarn weight can be DK

  • or sport if you like your mitts finer and a bit snugger
  • or worsted if you like them thicker and not as fitted

Solid and semi solids work, long striping could be interesting so you get colour blocks.

But short-striping or highly variegated are not recommended because they’ll most likely obscure the patterning.

Medium to light colours will be best for the same reason.
