Lightweight yet substantial is the best way to describe ’Storm Clouds’ shawl.
Knitted in Quince&Co ‘Tern’ fingering weight mix of wool and silk the shawl has fabulous drape, sheen and is warm and soft.
It is worked top down in subtle textured pattern and finished off with wide lace border.
There are two sizes given medium and large.
Yarn usage:
Size M: MC 3 skeins (550m), CM 2 skeins (280m).
Size L: MC 4 full skeins with none left (808m), and CC 2 skeins (350m).
Shown in size large and colours “Stonnington“(412) and ‘Mist’ 413.

The pattern is fairly simple, lace is worked on RS only.
Instructions are written and charted.

’Storm Clouds’ is a perfect accessory for any time of year.
It can be worn casually with jeans or with a dress for more formal look.
The colour combinations are endless, however, it will also look good knitted in a single colour.
