Whether you’re strolling the waterfront, riding the ferris wheel or just trying to recapture the essence of Summer; Summer Carnival is the cardigan you need.

Knit top-down and seamlessly, this lightweight and easy to wear cardigan is reminiscent of a cropped 50s style cardie. The construction is a slight twist on the traditional raglan cardigan. It features a simple but cute circular lace motif in the brooch position and running down one side of the body. This circular motif evokes images of katherine wheels and ferris wheels, such distinctly Summer memories.

Both charts and instructions are included for the lace sections.

Perfect for slipping over sundresses.

NOTE: Summer Carnival is part of a series of four related patterns available separately or as part of an ebook.

The related pattern Summer Festival is a longer line version of this cardie with pockets and additional lace features. The raglan shaping, bodice and sleeves are worked slightly differently in each of these patterns to cater for the different fit and ease in the different style of sleeves.

The final two patterns are children’s versions of these two patterns; Carousel and Ferris Wheel.
