The Tank Empire (Ompier) draws on the clever and fabulous empire waist. Loose folds,a high waist under the bust, and natural fibers make supremely cool comfort in hot weather. Knit in the round to the armholes, this combines an interesting stitch pattern with a bit of color and form fitting style. For those in colder climates, extend this tank’s season by wearing it over a skinny long sleeve shirt as a fashionable vest.

Note: This pattern looks best with several inches of negative ease. Choose a size that offers up to 6”(15cm) of negative ease to fit. Sizes listed fit up to the actual bust measurements given above. Finished Measurements are:
28(31.5,34.5,37,40)“

Also Note: Cotton/Linen blend yarn will shrink when washed, especially after its first washing. It will stretch again as it is worn, but note carefully the gauges listed on page 73 and check your gauge swatch before and after washing/blocking the swatch.
