The capelet is worked in the round, from the bottom up, with no seaming required. It utilizes a stretchy, rib-based stitch pattern, which allows the garment to mold to multiple body sizes in just one simple version. It is as comfortable and easy to wear as any shawl, and makes an invaluable accessory piece. It’s a simple knit, yet it creates a seemingly complex textured fabric. The scarf pattern coordinates with the capelet and adds an elegant finish around your neck.

The samples were hand washed in a gentle fibre wash and rolled in a towel. They were then dried in a hot dryer with a damp towel to fluff up the fibres. The yarn has a gorgeous drape and the items will grow longer when worn.
