Gauge: 16 stitches and 20 rows per 4” (10 cm) in 2x2 ribbing with fingering weight held double (st gauge is taken when stretched, row gauge is taken when relaxed).

Designer’s note: Several testers found that they preferred to go down a significant number in needle sizes to get the “fabric” they desired. I highly suggest doing a gauge swatch beforehand and adjusting your needles to get the correct gauge and fit of your liking! The important thing is to make sure that your swatch is able to stretch to 4 sts to the inch. Remember, the way your swatch stretches indicates the way your garment will stretch to fit to your body! If you want your garment to be form fitting, you will want your swatch to have a firmer stretch.

Needles: (2) 40” circular needles and a DPN in size needed to achieve gauge listed above (suggested size: (2) 40”/US 10/6mm needles. Plus (1) size J/K crochet hook for the trim (optional).
