Note: Ravelry Download includes both Hat and Mittens.

Here’s a cute winter hat that uses a ribbed stitch with a twist; the 1x1 ribs are incorporated into the cable design. Ribbing makes the hat very stretchy, so it is easy to fit to men and women of all sizes. (Brilliant for gifts where you may not know everyone’s exact size.)

The ribbed border is long enough to be turned up for extra warmth, and the hat is finished with a pompom.
The design is accompanied by matching mittens.
This set will warm up the winter landscape. It is cozy, fashionable and fun.

Note: You’ll need less than one skein for each of the Hat and Mittens

Pattern has been professionally tech-edited.

Errata:
The cuff for the mittens is 24 rounds deep. The body of the mittens starts with row 25.
