This is a charted pattern, double knitting to produce a thick, warm hat. :)

Required skills:

• Knitting in the round (DPNs or circular, but ultimately DPNs are required to close off the hat)
• Chart reading (for color changes, should be pretty simple)
• Double Knitting. The pattern could also be used for normal knitting fabric, but will required knowledge of Intarsia knitting. Neither of these skills are explained in the pattern itself, since there are already so many wonderful tutorials out there.

Skill level intermediate because it involves color change. Otherwise it only involves basic knitting stitches, knit, increases and decreases.
