The Vanilla socks are simple socks that can easily be adapted to your own taste based on the colour and wool choice. You start with the toe and work your way up the leg. This way you can perfectly adjust the sock to the size you like. You can choose between 2 types of heels: a German short row heel or a French heel. Or try them both? Thanks to this basic sock pattern, including photo instructions, you will learn the most important techniques of knitting toe-up socks so you have all the skills to work on other, more complicated, patterns.
Please be aware: knitting socks can be addictive!
