CONSTRUCTION
Scarf is worked flat in a triangular shape from widest point to tip.

MATERIALS
300 yards of fingering weight wool yarn

2 skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Loft (100% American Targhee-Columbia wool; 275 yards/50g)

Note: Head scarves were worked using exactly 1 skein of yarn each; however, to allow for swatching and for variations between individual knitters, it is recommended that you purchase two skeins.

GAUGE
24 stitches & 34 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch, with Size A needle(s), after blocking
48-stitch Cable Pattern from chart measures 7” wide, after blocking

NEEDLES
Size A (for Main Fabric):
One pair of straight needles or a circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge
Suggested Size: 3¾ mm (US 5)

Size B (for Edging):
One pair of straight needles or a circular needle three sizes smaller than Size A
Suggested Size: 3 mm (US 2½)

Knitter’s preferred style of needle may be used
