Fun to knit and surprisingly effective for something that’s so easy to knit.

Great for leftovers of a special yarn such as handspun or Noro-type.

I made my original hat with a gauge of 16sts, but I’ve also include a second stitchcount for 18st gauge - the crown will be slightly different (see pink and cream one by HeleenK).

The pattern is only charted, but it’s the chart is easy to understand and I’ve included two versions: one for light CC and one for dark CC so you can just choose the one that’s closest to the colour value of your yarns, which makes it much easier to follow.
