I am lucky to live on Exmoor which is one of the English National parks; Exmoor encompasses a large area of North Devon and Somerset, situated in the southwest corner of England. The landscape consists of high windswept moorland, deep wooded river valleys, steep sea cliffs and a rugged coastline bordering the Bristol Channel.
Exmoor is a designated international dark sky reserve; the reserves are classified as public or private areas that possess an exceptional quality of starry nights.
