The cats had a plastic ball with a bell in it, but it was too loud on the hard floor, and they were uninterested in it. I thought if I crocheted a cover, it might be easier for them to grab and then maybe would be more attractive to them! The “tail” was leftover from a previous project, and I stitched it on for a little extra pizazz.
