Notes

First of my year of traveling socks. Any time I have a get away, I’ll purchase sock yarn and make myself a pair of souvenir socks.

These are full of memories of a “we survived the holidays” get away with some dear friends. We road tripped to Madison, WI, stayed in an adorable B&B, and had a marvelous time.

The pictures are not color accurate. It’s teal and black, not blue and black.

I ended up simply using the 64 stitch CO and fundamental sock instructions in this pattern. The stitch pattern did not show up well with the colorway, so I opted for a plain sock with 2x2 rib cuff and picot bind off. There is 1x1 ribbing along the arch, which is something I really like since my arch is so incredibly high. It helps prevent the saggy sock syndrome.
