Finished!

Heavily modified version.

I thought I had completed the Link tunic five days ago, but I was wrong. Being the otaku I am, I had to add some “chain mail” to the outfit on the sleeves and bottom and random embroidery as decoration. At least doing the chain mail gave me an excuse to use up the Vanna’s Choice Mustard yarn I had purchased last year for the Katamari Prince Hat’s antenna. The embroidery on the collar was horribly frustrating to get just right. I almost decided against adding it, but I am really glad I hung in there.

The belt buckle is my own design. It is even quasi-functional.

After I finished the tunic and hung it up, I stood back only to think, “Argh, the belt buckle isn’t centered!” (=_=;) So close. It’s off a few stitches to the side. Too bad. I’m not redoing it at this point.

I wanted to add the embroider on the sleeves and sides, maybe a quiver/sword/whatever holder, but I have so much stuff I still need to get done before Halloween and this project was getting out of control.

Despite the little errors here and there, I am super pleased with the outfit.
