A combination Christmas/Birthday present for Dear Hubby who has Cold Feet and is REALLY hard on all of the knitted slippers I’ve made him in the past…

Bought the kit with both felted soles and a leather outer sole - nice quality materials.

Whipped the tops up in one morning… Easy Peasy. Stitching on the soles took a few more hours.

There _Might_ be an ‘error’ in the pattern - “Row 29” should be “Row 30” - but otherwise, as written.

Probably needed to go down a needle size? They’re a little big (hubby says they keep slipping off) but I think a little felting will probably solve that (I’ve never had good results getting yarn slippers with soles stay on ‘real’ human feet - i.e. those ones with flip-flop soles or those with felted crocheted soles - so it’s probably a limitation due to the nature of fabric made with yarn. Otherwise, I might add some elastic around the heels?

Tried hand felting and too hard… ran through one cycle with blue jeans and they already look firmer. :D Hopefully, I didn’t ruin the leather - it seems OK. :-o
