A friend saw my Floppy Horse and asked for one for a friend of hers who’s expecting. Then she asked for something brilliant, some knit baby suspenders. Why hadn’t I thought of that before?! I said, “sure!” and immediately went to Ravelry. I didn’t really find what I was looking for, so a couple of Google searches and sketches later, I came up with my own plan.

I used scrap yarn I had from past projects. I cast on just enough to make the suspenders about 1 inch wide, and knit up whatever stitch I felt like knitting. I made the suspenders about 18” long, as they are SUPER stretchy. Then I crossed them, sewed them together, Added snap buttons, and attached the Fashion Fit Clips that Ashley suggested her the Little Boy Suspenders post. For added cuteness, I knit up a little heart in grey and attached it to the yellow suspenders.

I can’t wait to see pictures of these on the cute baby boy!
