Notes

4 mm for icord
4.5 mm for icord BIND OFF (and keep it relaxed there missy!)
3.5 mm main needle
3 mm for purl when working stockinette

I find my stockinette is quite even, but for some reason when working the purl side, it's WAY LOOSE. And i'm getting all sorts of weird bowing out/tiger stripes. So I'm using a 3mm needle to snug up those stitches.
(uh, I think I have to test this out again, I may have been tipsy when making my swatches, because I’m knitting stockinette again without the 3mm needle and it’s looking just fine… which may explain why 1 of 4 swatches was ok…)

So I thought I would be so clever by using this icord cast on, so I don’t have to pick up stitches. No, don’t do it. Even with a 4 mm needle it was still too tight, the icord is too small and there’s a gap from where the cast on is and the garter ridges. I finished the collar, said nope and ripped it out.

I’m still pretty lazy tho and was not about to make an icord and pick up 122 stitches.

So I provisionally cast on my A-1 count around an extra cable. and worked a couple of rows into the collar as per pattern. Then I went back with a 4.5 mm needle and worked a way more relaxed icord cast off (yep, with a provisional start and everything).
HOLY SMOKES. Way better. Do that!
(And I think it’s way faster doing an i-cord bind off than it is to cast on!)

I worked the entire “butt flap” short rows without picking up my wraps.
I KNOW, I’M EVILLLLLLLLLL
But seriously, they get lost in the garter stitch. You cannot see them at all!
Starting the sleeves. I gonna knit them seamlessly in the round. RIGHT AFTER I WORSHIP SATAN.
(no mom, i’m kidding about the satan thing)
