Notes

oct 18 - i am very dissapointed with the second skein. halfway through there where three knots so far and two of them started with a total different color, i had to wind off some meters to find a reasonable similar color to go on without a too noticeable cut. (there was a knot in the first skein with a color cut but it was in the middle of a diamond and looks not too bad so i left it as it came.)
oct 22 - blocking-day….

about the pattern: love it! its so easy to knit and makes such an interesting look! my shawl reminds me on fabrics and hangings from the 1970-ies :)
i followed the pattern, but increased until i ran out of yarn. had to cast of in the middle of a diamond, but it does not matter, looks great anyway.

about the yarn: i definately will never ever buy this yarn again! there where seven!!! knots in the second skein. its a sock-yarn - if i would have knit socks from i would have tossed it in the trash can. the second reason is bleeding. i soaked the shawl with a sip of “Fewa wool” in handwarm water as i always do with my shawls, whatever yarn i use. it was bleeding like hell. had to rinse it seven or eight times to get the water nearly clear.
