I wanted to knit Jennifer Beale’s Voy’s beach for ages but i fell in love with Janette Budge’s colours on Clickimin cowl. That pink-yellow-green is just brilliant.

So i am going to match these to ladies and try and knit the Clickimin chart in Voy’s beach tshirt…

I put the chart in stitchfiddle…. wish me luck.

• Started with size 4 for the lace-yoke and the colourwork. Then i decreased to size 3 for the stockinette one colour part because my Stockinette gauge is off by 4 st per 10cm

(to reach 30st to 10cm i need to downgrade to needlesize 2mm or 1,75mm and i simply refuse to go below needlesize 2,5mm ).

I even added some more waistshaping by decrease a few more stitches along the sides than the pattern said AND by decreasing some stitches on the back (at 1/4 of sideseams) and decrease a few stitches on the front (at 1/3 of the sideseams).

I ended up with 99st on the back and 103 on the front.
For the curved hem and the short rows there i just winged it a bit while i knitted.
