First official Pod Pal - 08Jun2016

Having experimented twice for my Pod Pals project, I’m now making my first official doll for a fellow EVE player, Mynxee.

Almost done! - 23Jul2016

This Pod Pal has come along really well. All I have left to do is the hair. The character has dreadlocks so I have considered using a series of slip-stitched chains to create the hair, rather than just using strands of yarn (as would be done if the hair was simply loose). Mynxee will have to pick!

Dreads - 10Aug2016

After some experimentation, we settled on regular chains for the dreads. I’m working on it and have about half the head to go. The chains go quickly but stitching them to the head takes a bit more effort to get them to lay correctly and not bunch up.

Done! - 13Aug2016

Five weeks! Finally finished. I am so pleased with how this doll turned out. :) Hopefully Mynxee will like it!
