I am making squares instead of crosses because I want more of the pretty striping yarn to show.

This pattern is a winner because:

1. No purling!
2. You don’t have to count rows. You just have to remember to do the decreases on the right side and none on the wrong side.
3. It’s extremely portable.
4. It knits ups fast.

• Note added later: The Mochi Plus yarn pills up something terrible over time. Not sure I would use it again. The Cascade Heathers is not pilling up.
