Knitting this as a hug for my daughter Viel, who was diagnosed with epilepsy when she was 15. Seizure-free for the last 3 years, yay!

Mod: Increased 20 more stitches to add an extra repeat of the lace on either side of the center stitch. I have 2 skeins of this yarn so no danger of running out.

Didn’t run out of yarn, yay! I love the shawl, a bit small for my liking esp as garter stitch tends to bunch up. But my daughter will be able to use it as a scarf so it’s good.
