I found a skein of stunning hank-dyed variegated yarn. Couldn’t afford more than one skein so chose a pattern that could grow until the yarn ran out.
Based on Mostly Harmless but adapted for more texture by developing a set of rows with eyelets to make the yarn go a little further.
The pattern worked well but personally I don’t really like the mottled look of the colour - it looked far more attractive in solid bands in the untouched hank, but oh well, live and learn!
