The yarn with the name “Cotton Candy” was a gift for the “lighthouse scarf”. Knitting it would certainly have been great fun, but I would never have worn it. These candy colors go well with Nick, who is almost headless.
The yarn has not a continuous gradient, so I am very curious to see how it will turn out.

The instructions are a bit cumbersome, due to the very detailed description of all the steps, with every eventuality taken into account. No questions are left unanswered.
It’s best to write down all the essential things that are relevant to your own project.
Once you’ve started knitting, the next steps will become clear.

The method of bringing the second color up at the edge is ingenious, as it saves you from having to sew in threads.

Note: for a nice curve, start and end symmetrically. Example: if you start with column 1, end with column 14; start with column 3, end with column 11, etc. At least, that’s how I interpret the pattern.

I will probably knit as long as the yarn lasts. I have calculated that there are two full arcs, possibly one more that has been started.

Das Garn war ein Geschenk für ein Leuchtturm-Tuch. Sicher hätte auch das zu stricken großen Spaß gemacht, aber ich hätte es nie getragen. Diese Bonbonfarben passen aber gut zum fast kopflosen Nick.
Das Garn ist nicht in einem durchgehenden Verlauf, daher bin ich sehr gespannt, wie es dann herauskommt.
Die Anleitung ist etwas sperrig, das liegt an der sehr ausführlichen Beschreibung aller Vorgehensweisen, jede Eventualität wurde berücksichtigt. Es bleiben keine Fragen offen.
Da schreibt man sich am besten alle wesentlichen Dinge, die für das eigene Projekt relevant sind, heraus.
Wenn man sich erstmal eingestrickt hat, erschließen sich auch die nächsten Schritte.
Genial ist die Methode, die zweite Farbe am Rand hochzuführen, das spart Fäden vernähen.
Merke: für eine schöne Rundung: symmetrisch beginnen und enden. Beispiel: wenn man mit Spalte 1 beginnt, enden mit Spalte 14, Beginn Spalte 3 - enden mit Spalte 11, …, zumindest interpretiere ich das Schema so.
Vermutlich werde ich stricken, so lange das Garn reicht. Berechnet habe ich, dass es zwei volle Bögen gibt, evl. noch einen angefangenen.
